COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY CULTURAL PLAN
Through a joint public-private collaboration, Consultant Ashley Ellington has embarked on the process of creating a Comprehensive Cultural Plan for our community. This plan is part of the Floyd County and Rome City Strategic Plans. It is also part of the Chamber of Commerce's 20/20 plan.
Approximately 100 people, representing almost 80 organization have been contacted regarding arts, culture and heritage in the community; they form the
Cultural Roundtable.
Members of the Cultural Roundtable are being interviewed and participating in focus groups. In addition, they have been asked to respond to surveys by Ashley.
It is necessary for Ashley to accumulate as much data and information as she can. Therefore, any and all citizens of Rome/Floyd County are being asked to respond to the "Public Opinion Survey".
